The Power of Salt Lamps to Transform
Scientifically speaking, salt indeed has a unique feature. It is the only element whose crystalline structure is electrical, and not molecular. This fact is what makes salt so transformable. When we place a quartz crystal into water and remove it after ten minutes, it is still the same quartz crystal. It didn't change molecularly, though it has a crystalline structure. Although the crystal has the capability to gives its energy which can be easily absorbed by another matter, it remained the same. In simple terms, it is too attached to matter that it refused to be dissolved or to be disassociated from its initial polarity. Salt lamps have many of the same characteristics of the quartz crystals therefor the same can be said on a certain understanding.
On another note, by placing a crystal of salt into water, we can see that it will dissolve - and it forms the sole. Sole is neither water nor salt. Instead, it is another form that is of higher energetic dimension and which is more than just water or salt alone. Interestingly enough, salt remains when sole evaporates. This very characteristic of salt guarantees that salt doesn't have to be metabolized, and that it remains in our body. Other elements change in form, for instance, starch becomes sugar, proteins into amino acids and fats into glycerine and acid.Himalayan Salt, however, refuses to be anything else but salt. It's readily available to the cells in its ionized structure as sole. In order for our body to take advantage of the food we eat, it needs to break them down into their components first. This isn't the case with salt. It even gets to our brain directly.
The Role of Salt in Human Thoughts and Actions
Even the simplest processes in our body need salt or its inherent elements in ionized form. For example, it is the responsibility of our nervous system to transmit the stimulation that has been received via sensory input to our brain, which in return passes this information back to our muscles in order for us to react to the respective stimuli. An electric potential happens on the cell memberanes when the positively charged potassium ions leave the cells and the positively charged sodium ions cannot enter due to their size.
The acutal and presumed benefit is the negative ions that salt lamps and other Himalayan rock salt lamps do kind of create is the negative ion clouds as we have come to know them.
