Spiritual Quest Himalayan Salt Massage Stones come in two shapes.  Our oval Himalayan salt massage stones are perfectly sized at 2” thick x 3.5” in diameter.  Our hand-crafted, heart-shaped Himalayan salt massage stones are similarly sized and great for Valentine’s Day massages.   

Himalayan salt’s thermal properties mean Spiritual Quest’s massage stones will hold their temperature for up to 30 minutes when heated in a low temperature oven or with a heating pad.  Not only will this radiant heat feel great on your body as it penetrates deep into sore, achy muscles, but it releases the 84 beneficial natural trace minerals and nutrients inside Himalayan salt, allowing them to penetrate your skin, providing a natural detox effect that releases toxins that block the blood flow in that area.  Hot stone massages access muscle tissue faster, and on a deeper level, than deep tissue massages.

These Himalayan Salt Massage Stones may also be chilled in your freezer or refrigerator to use in cold stone massages which offer anti-inflammatory benefits by constricting the blood vessels to alleviate swelling.  Those same thermal properties that allow Himalayan salt to retain heat, also mean that our massage stones will retain cold for up to 30 minutes.  Used on facial areas, cold stone massage helps reduce nasal swelling and sinus inflammation.

You can alternate using hot and cold stones (contrast therapy) during a massage session to create a dynamic and invigorating massage experience.
