Handcrafted from Grade “A” Himalayan Salt Bricks, this stunning square salt wall we call the 3′ x 3′. It creates a distinctive home décor feature that compliments any room. The remote-controlled, full-spectrum, built-in LED backlighting brings out Himalayan salt’s magnificent natural color variations. These color striations are a naturally occurring by-product of the 84 minerals and elements found in Himalayan salt. The remote control unit lets you adjust the color and intensity of the LED lights so you can dial in the lighting to suit your mood. You can cycle your backlighting through the full-color spectrum or leave it on the natural light setting and relax to the warm, soothing organic orange and red colors abundant in our premium-grade Himalayan salt bricks. Our unique backlighting system maximizes the natural luminescence and ambiance of the Himalayan salt bricks.
Each Salt Wall Panel is hand-assembled from the finest grade of Himalayan Salt Bricks. This square salt brick wall panel we call the 3′ x 3′ contains 40-50 Himalayan salt bricks. Himalayan salt bricks are natural ion producers. Natural ions are said to clean the air of dust and pollen while projecting a sense of peace and tranquility. These natural ions are generated when the backlight warms the Himalayan salt bricks–the heavier the bricks, the more natural ions are produced. FAQ
HOW DO YOU BUILD A SALT WALL?
Building a salt wall is not for the novice. You want to consider location—your salt wall should be built in a dry area that is not subject to high humidity levels. You want to consider weight. Each brick in the salt wall can weigh up to five pounds. A salt wall that covers a standard room wall can weigh as much as a ton. You want to make sure your floor can support the salt wall. You want to consider how you are going to backlight the wall when it’s completed. Finally, you need to figure out how you will keep the bricks in place. We use proprietary systems for backlighting and keeping the bricks in our salt walls in place. Again, let us stress—building a salt wall is a special craft and not for the novice.
